Who Was Lil Peep:
Gustav Elijah Ahr known as Lil Peep was an american singer, rapper, songwriter and a model who was a leading figure in sad boys music of the 2010s. He has helped pioneer an emo revival style of rap music and was described as “arguably the best emo icon of the last few years”. Some of his hits include his debut album ‘Come Over When You’re Sober pt 1’and ‘Falling Down’. He was into fashion since his teenage years and hence started designing costume / merchandise as well. In this era where genuine individuality has been becoming more and more obsolete Peep was the creative trendsetter the world needed.
Lil Peep Music:
If there was one word used to describe Peep’s music, it would be raw and emotional. From Come over when you’re sober pt. 1 & 2 to Hellboy to Crybaby, he revealed a whole new era of music and created a huge fan base with relatable song lyrics. Some of his hit songs include Spotlight, Star Shopping & Awful things which you can listen to on any music platform, or if you’re old fashioned, use a vinyl or record. Luckily, we have merch for all of these albums at our store.
The Tours
In total, Lil Peep went on two tours. The first one was only in the United States while the other one went worldwide, travelling from the UK to Germany, ending in the U.S but was cut short due to his unfortunate death. Peep started going on tours after his album “Hellboy” received so much support over all platforms.
After it’s success, Lil Peep had his first tour called the “Peep Show” tour in April & May 2017. And even though in that same month he got copyright infringement accusations, his intention was just to show some love to the sample of the song.
His second tour called the Come Over When You’re Sober pt. 1 tour was international and went to various parts of the world. However, by the end of the tour, Lil Peep had lost his life.
Lil Peep’s Death:
Lil peep (RIP) died on Nov 15th 2017 due to drug overdose and was found collapsed in his tour bus by his manager. Before his death, Lil peep had been selling his official merch in concerts, meet and greets and online. We as his dedicated fans deny to leave his legacy untold, henceforth we take pride in selling his clothing style.
What Lil Peep left behind was not just some songs, it was a legacy. Even after his death, there were so many pre-sang songs release. These varied from collaborations with other huge artists to music videos that told a story that had never been told before. Moreover, his album Come Over When You’re Sober pt. 2 was also released almost a year after his death. This just proves the point that even after his death, he never stopped creating art.
