В бесплатном DLC появились боевые стили и множество сюжетных миссий, в том числе для прохождения в одиночку.

Апдейт 7.0 для Star Wars: The Old Republic вышел в Steam 15 февраля в 19:00 по московскому времени.

По сюжету дополнения, игрокам предстоит раскрыть планы ситха-отступника Дарта Малгуса. Для этого в том числе придётся посетить удалённые уголки галактики, вроде водной планеты Манаан и планеты Элом, на которой находится таинственная крепость ситхов.
В DLC появилась механика боевых стилей, которая позволяет комбинировать классовые способности персонажей с умениями других специализаций. Например, джедаи смогут использовать молнию силы, а труперы — снайперскую винтовку.
В игре стали доступны предустанавливаемые комплекты экипировки, которые можно настраивать и после быстро переключаться между ними одной кнопкой.
После прокачки игроки смогут выполнять квесты повышенной сложности при совместном прохождении.
Максимальный уровень поднялся до 80-го. У всех классов также появились дополнительные способности.

Жаль, что этот синематик выглядит хуже тех синематиков, которые выходили 10 лет назад по ЗВ.
Видать бюджеты уже не те.

Он все равно уделывает все что снимает Дисней.

да, похуже, но все равно классно получилось, уж лучше диснеевского говна, тем более, что создание такого синематика стоит дорого

чудо, что им вообще снова стали давать денег на синематики. а не ролики на игровом движке. да, акробатика в дуэлях выглядит немного странно (не знаю, как объяснить, но если сравнить с тем, что было 7 или 13 лет назад, то, конечно, разница понятна), но всё равно здорово выглядит ролик, в стиле старых

какая-то ссаная твилечка дерётся на равных с малгусом, вот это кринж конечно

Не в защиту падавана, но Малгус уже столько раз огребал от нашего героя, что воспринимать его каким то великим антагонистом уже не получается, да и тут видно, что он ее намеренно злит и дает почувствовать темную сторону, ведь учеников как говорится, много не бывает)

Что значит на равных? Малгус по лору настолько любил спаринг на световых мечах, что иногда давал своему противнику иллюзию равенства в битве, чтобы растянуть удовольствие от процесса

он весь трейлер её правоцирует.
если бы хотел - зарубил бы быстрее чем её учителя

И опять этот троп. Джедай чему-то упорно обучает падавана кучу лет, чтобы тот потом от первого же триггера пал на Темную сторону. Храму явно надо было начинать образовательную реформу еще тогда.

Дык ещё давно известен этот постулат, что свалиться в тёмную сторону легко, а вот удержаться на светлой это надо постараться

Вооот ЭТО Звездные Войны!

Насколько всё-таки крутая вселенная ЗВ времён старой республики - и по книгам и по синематикам. Великие множество джедаев и ситхов, тайны, загадки, артефакты, драма - столько всего.

Да. Одни дред мастеры (Dread Masters) что стоят. Это такие страшные тварины, что волосы шевелятся, если вникнуть. С ними прямо совсем эпичная сюжетная побочка вышла.

Синематики в играх по звёздным войнам, это лучшее что осталось от звёздных войн.

Ну ты сравнил конечно. Тогда эта игра только выходила, в которую закинули вагоны бабла и безумно хайпила, ибо ЭТО ЖЕ СВИТОР БЛЯТЬ, ТОТ САМЫЙ КОТОР 3, ТОЛЬКО В ОНЛАЙНЕ! ЭТО ЖЕ ММО, ГДЕ ВСЕ ДИАЛОГИ ОЗВУЧЕНЫ И ЕСТЬ КАТСЦЕНЫ, ВЫБОРЫ И ВООБЩЕ ВЫ ОХУЕЕТЕ!!(если честно, я до сих пор охуеваю, что можно это грамотно вплести в ммо и не проебаться, тут они рили молодцы)
Удивительно, что свитор до сих пор не закрыли, учитывая репутацию биотварей и то, что за ними стоят ЕА. Поверь, это уже чудо, что дали бабок на хоть какой-то ролик, новый контент и в целом это всё еще работает.

Скачал, поставил, промудохался час с сенсой мыши, стер. Начало мутноватое.

Когда кто-то играет в расширение MMORPG, он ожидает, что будет по крайней мере 10 часов сюжетного контента. Игроки SWTOR были шокированы, обнаружив, что история Legacy of the Sith закончилась примерно за 2 или 3 часа и состояла из текстов немного более низкого качества, чем то, чем известна The Old Republic.

I have a simple question for anyone that can help me out. I used to play SWTOR quite frequently, and when the whole legacy concept first came out. I was able to reach legacy level 3, but slowly drifted from the game. I just recently returned and was just wondering if there was any way I can delete my legacy information, and start a clean slate?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the only way to do that would be to delete all the toons in that legacy. Possibly just the head of the family.

I thought that would do the trick too, but then I created a new character and the legacy information remained. I appreciate the idea though

Your Legacy cannot be deleted, even if you delete all characters on one server. The individual Legacies are tied to your account. Only way to "wipe the slate" would be to register a new account and start playing that one.

Honestly though, why would you even want to start your Legacy anew? If it is merely because you don't like your Legacy name anymore, there are options to change the name (for large amounts of money on the GTN or for 1000 Cartel Coins).

Yeah, your Legacy is a permanent fixture on a server, even if you delete every character.
The best you can hope to accomplish is to change your Legacy name.

You can have a different legacy name on each server. So rather than starting a whole new account, you can just switch servers.

One of the most iconic aspects of Star Wars™ is the family dynamic between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. In Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, you will be able to create your very own Skywalker-like family dynasty through the Legacy System, unlocking new skills, items, and other character options that were previously unavailable.

The Family Tree

With the Legacy System, you can connect each of your characters together in a family tree, which becomes available when one of your characters completes the first chapter of his or her class story. Within your family tree, you can define the relationships between each of your characters on a server, assigning them as spouses, siblings, children or valued allies. Not only will this tie your characters together with the same last name, but it will also allow each character to begin contributing to your Legacy level.

Class Unlocks

When Legacy characters achieve milestones in their class story, they will unlock special abilities they can pass on to other members of your Legacy. After completing the second chapter of a character’s class story, that character’s primary ‘buff’ will be shared with all other members of the Legacy, automatically added to the bonuses applied by the primary ‘buff’ for each character’s class. For instance, if a Sith Warrior in your Legacy completes the second chapter of his or her class story, the damage bonus from his ‘Unnatural Might’ ability is shared across the Legacy. When a Smuggler in that Legacy activates his primary buff, ‘Lucky Shots’, it will apply the damage bonus from ‘Unnatural Might’ along with the critical chance bonus from ‘Lucky Shots’. These bonuses continue to accrue with each character class in which the second chapter is completed.

Smuggler – Dirty Kick

As exciting as having access to these abilities will be, it’s important to ensure they are reserved for special moments in the game and that they don’t disrupt game balance. Thus, Heroic abilities can only be used when the Player has activated their ‘Heroic Moment’ ability, which is on an extended cooldown and can only be activated when the Player has a companion character at his or her side.

Species Unlocks

The Legacy System also unlocks new options in character creation. Anytime a character in the Legacy reaches level 50, the character’s species is unlocked in character creation for all classes. This allows you to mix-and-match species and class combinations, carrying on your character’s bloodline within the Legacy family tree. Alternatively, you can unlock new species for your Legacy by spending in-game credits.

Legacy Items

Throughout your adventures in The Old Republic, you will come across special items and equipment that may be useless to your current character, but of intense value to another member of your family tree. Known as “Legacy Gear”, these items bind on your Legacy, and can be traded freely between the different characters in your family tree to provide everyone with the most powerful weapons and armor that are available to them at their level.

This is only a small summary of all the new features and options the Legacy System brings to Star Wars: The Old Republic, and as the game continues to grow, your legacies will grow and evolve with it.

New Storyline

As part of our celebration, the “Anniversary Personnel” Vendor will be available on the Fleet until January 2023. Their inventory has been updated to include new rewards and the Best View of SWTOR contest decorations.
