В конце 2015г Kenwood представила свой первый регистратор. А в начале 2017 – уже свою 5-ю модель, интегрированную в систему автомобиля по концепции IOT.
Концепция IOT – это идея интернет вещей, с помощью которой можно объединять различные устройства с целью полного взаимодействия. Именно в 2016г она получила широкое распространение у различных производителей.
Kenwood идет в ногу со временем, поэтому на CES 2017 в Лас-Вегасе компания представила новую модель DVR-N520, получившую интеграцию с навигационными устройствами в автомобиле.
Принцип действия очень прост, видеорегистратор подключен к навигационному встроенному устройству автомобиля (только родные модели от kenwood MDV-Z904W / Z904 / Z704W / Z704 / L504W / L504 / L404W / L404 / D504BTW / D504BT / D404BTW / D404BT / D304W / D304 / D204BT / D204) и позволяет с помощью него полностью управлять гаджетом, а также просматривать всю информацию. На сенсорным экране навигации можно посмотреть текущую картинку, настроить прибор, посмотреть записанные файлы и использовать другие функции.
Именно за счет интеграции в качестве модуля определения местоположения используется внутренний GPS самой навигации, а не встроенный модуль в видеорегистраторе.
4Mpx CMOS сенсор от неизвестного производителя позволяет снимать в разрешении 2304×129 со странной частотой 27fps. Угол по диагонали составляет 126 градусов. Гаджет поддерживает режим HDR.
Надо отметить и наличие системы ADAS, в которую включены функции сьезда с полосы движения, превышения скорости, быстрое сближение с авто спереди. Эти данные визуально отображаются на экране встроенного навигационного устройства, есть и звуковое оповещение.
Остальные характеристики довольно стандартные. Поддержка карт памяти до 32GB, в комплекте карта на 8GB. Есть парковочный режим и G-сенсор. Габариты 79 мм x 22 мм x 48мм, вес всего 77гр. Регистратор оснащен суперконденсатором.
Надо отметить, что интеграцию с фирменными навигационными устройствами еще в 2013г осуществляла компания FineDigital, делая ее с продуктами FineVu и FineDrive, поэтому идея далеко не нова.

Warning
When your vehicle is at a full stop and the car in front of you starts to move forward, the departure delay warning sounds if your car fails to move forward.The system will also provide warning if your vehicle starts to move backward.
(The accident avoidance features are for providing safety support to drivers and in no way, shape or form is meant to substitute a drivers full attention to the responisbilities of driving. The features do not provide notification of all hazards encountered on the road.

Super Capacitor
Prevents the recorded video file from being corrupted due to lost power, as it provides enough power to allow the video file to close properly.
4 types of recording mode
Continuous recordings
Recording starts as soon as the vehicle starts. In continuous recording mode. The oldest files are deleted when storage capacity has been exceeded.
Manual recording
Pressing the Rec button on the device takes the camera out of continuous record mode. The recording time of manual recording is 10 seconds before the manual recording button was pressed plus the time set for "Manual Recording Time."
Event recording
When an event such as a collision occurs during continuos recording "Event Recording" automatically starts record of the event. The recording time of event recording is 10 seconds before the event was detected plus the time set for "Event Recording Time."
Parking recording
When the vehicle is parked and turned off, parking recording mode becomes active. If the vehicle is subject to a collision, or similar event, power is supplied to the camera and parking recording starts. When recording ends, parking record status resumes.
Built-in G-Sensor
When the G-Sensor detects any sudden motion, DRV-N520 will automatically save and lock the recording to protect it from being deleted. The integrated 3-axis sensor records G-force which shows the direction and the strength of possible impact.
KENWOOD Drive Reviewer
KENWOOD Drive Reviewer is a PC application that displays video recorded by the DRV-N520 with greater detail.
